Maribel Martinez – Attorney / Former Judge
A Florida personal injury attorney, Domestic violence attorney and DUI/driving infractions attorney for over 20 years who began her career years earlier in New Jersey, Maribel Martinez had the honor to serve both as a Public Defender and as a Judge for the City of Passaic. As a public defender, she defended misdemeanor, DWI, traffic and domestic violence cases. As a Judge, she presided over similar trials as well as domestic violence TRO’s, arraignments and bail hearings for felony and misdemeanor matters. Maribel Martinez also helped injured New Jersey parties recover money damages against those who were at fault for their injuries.
Maribel Martinez obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Rutgers State University, School of Law,
Newark, NJ, graduating in the top 15% of her class after being on the dean’s list and receiving
several awards. Previous to that, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Minor in French
at Rutgers State University, Newark, NJ in 1990 – with Honors. Maribel has served in many civic
associations. She is fluent in Spanish with knowledge of French and Italian.

Maggie is a registered nurse. Her work experience includes critical care bedside experience, registered chiropractic assistant and billing. She has over fifteen years of experience, with more than ten years working with personal injury clients.

Accountant
Cathy obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 2001. She joined the law firm in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a staff accountant in corporate and non-profit organizations.
Jazmin
Paralegal
Jazmin has lived in the Tampa Bay Area for over 25 years and has been working with the firm for over 15 years. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Services in April 2014. She works closely with all of the firm’s family law and personal injury clients.
Yissel
Front Office Manager
Yissel graduated in 2011 with Bachelor in Business Administration. While obtaining her degree in the Dominican Republic, she had internships in a Construction Consulting Company in the Human Resources Department. She joined the firm in 2020 and has more than 12 years working with clients.
Siria
Medical Records Specialist
Siria obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2004. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked 9 years in a medical office as a Lead. She works closely with our personal injury clients assisting the nurse consultant and helps our clients resolve their property damage claims.
